An article in Newsday on whether John McCain will be able to stage a come-from-behind victory in the presidential elections quotes James E. Campbell, professor and chair of political science. "If there is a strong, compelling message, it's possible [that undecided voters will break in large numbers for McCain]. But what I've found in the past is they split more evenly than early deciders," he said.
